Administrators were appointed over TMBFITNESS Ltd, which trades as Foundry from Hole Farm at Lye Green, on 26 July. The gym is still advertising memberships.

The company that runs Foundry, the personal training gym at Hole Farm on Lye Green, has gone into administration. Lee Manning and Robert Russell of insolvency firm S&W Partners LLP were appointed joint administrators of TMBFITNESS Limited on 26 July 2026, and notice of the appointment was published in The London Gazette on 4 August. What the notice records

The Gazette notice gives the company’s trading name as Foundry and its nature of business as “fitness facilities”. Its principal trading address is Unit 1, Hole Farm, Lye Green, Crowborough, TN6 1UU, with a registered office at Wey Court West in Farnham, Surrey. The appointment was made in the High Court’s Business and Property Courts, Insolvency and Companies List, under court number CR-2026-005936. (The Gazette, notice 5184708)

Administration is not the same as liquidation. A company in administration keeps trading unless the administrators decide otherwise, and their statutory job is to rescue it as a going concern where possible, or to get a better result for creditors than an immediate winding up would. Nothing in the notice says the gym has stopped trading.

The gym is still advertising

As of 12 August, Foundry’s own website was still promoting the Crowborough gym and offering a seven-day trial, with membership enquiries taken on 01892 315811. (Foundry, Crowborough gym page)

The Foundry brand lists seven gyms in total: Crowborough plus Cobham, Moorgate, North Kensington, Richmond, Vauxhall and Wandsworth. (Foundry, locations) The Gazette notice names only TMBFITNESS Limited, whose principal trading address is the Crowborough site; it says nothing about any other location.

Companies House shows TMBFITNESS Limited was incorporated on 20 September 2016, so the appointment comes two months short of the company’s tenth birthday. As of 12 August the register still listed the company as active, with the administration yet to appear in its public filing history; the Gazette notice is the official record of the appointment. If you train at Foundry, the administration concerns the company rather than the premises, and the gym was still advertising sessions this week.
