Free, 10am to 2pm on Thursday 24 September at Basepoint, Pine Grove. The other business expo at Rotherfield on 13 October has been cancelled.
The second Crowborough Business Fair takes place on Thursday 24 September, 10am to 2pm, at Basepoint Crowborough on Pine Grove, TN6 1DH. It is free, and visitors can drop in at any point during the four hours. (Crowborough Business Fair 2026, organiser’s booking page)
It is run by Crowborough Connections, part of the Heathfield management consultancy Arracan Group, in collaboration with Basepoint. (Arracan Group)
What is on
The organiser’s listing sets out the following:
- guest speakers through the day
- a food and drink area in Basepoint’s first-floor lounge
- a raffle, £1 a ticket or £5 a strip
- free entry, with tickets booked in advance or taken on the door
All raffle proceeds go to The Good Company People, the Crowborough charity that supports older people, people living with dementia and their carers. It is registered charity number 1202836, and its most recent published accounts, for the year to 30 April 2025, record income of £285,641 and spending of £240,992, with 8 trustees and 53 volunteers. (Charity Commission register)
Free tickets were still showing as available when we checked the booking page on 30 August.
The October expo has been cancelled
A second event has been listed all summer for the same audience: the Crowborough and Wealden Business Expo, at Briar House Barns on Dewlands Hill in Rotherfield, about three miles south-east of Crowborough town centre, on Tuesday 13 October.
That event is not going ahead. Its Eventbrite listing now carries a notice from the organiser, Your Office Events Team, saying: “Unfortunately this event has had to be cancelled due to circumstances that are beyond our control.” Ticket sales have ended. (Eventbrite listing, The Crowborough & Wealden Business Expo 2026)
The listing still appears in search results, and the cancellation notice sits several paragraphs into the description, so it is easy to miss. The original plan was a free 10am to 2pm expo with keynote speakers and a speed networking hour from 12.30pm.
The regular meetings
Crowborough and District Chamber of Commerce is a separate organisation, and it ran its own business expo at Crowborough Community Centre on 21 April. (Tester & Jones, exhibitor’s announcement) It holds meetings on a fixed monthly pattern: a breakfast meeting on the first Tuesday of every month, open to members and visitors, a members’ lunch club on the third Thursday, and a members’ evening meeting every two months. Membership is open to businesses trading in Crowborough and the surrounding district, including Forest Row, Nutley and Tunbridge Wells. (Crowborough & District Chamber of Commerce)
What it means for you
If you run a business in or around Crowborough, the practical position for the autumn is this:
- 24 September is the one to put in the diary. It is free, it is in Crowborough, and it runs through the middle of a working day.
- Do not travel to Rotherfield on 13 October. The expo there is off. If you booked a stand or a ticket, contact Your Office Events Team through the Eventbrite listing.
- Stands at the September fair are handled by the organiser rather than through the free visitor ticket, so ask Crowborough Connections directly.
Basepoint is on Pine Grove in central Crowborough, in the Crowborough Central ward. Before you travel, Crowborough roadworks and travel has the current closures, and Crowborough train times to London covers the rail connection if you are coming from further afield.
